Day4, Men. Greece continues to surprise. Three out of three for the big teams

Greece is the big surprise of the first day of Phase 2 of the men’s draw at the FIP Euro Padel Cup. In Madrid, the Greeks – who came through Phase 1 – beat Monaco 2-1 in Group C thanks to Asimakopoulos and Kostaridis and Sioulis/Balafas, in a group that also saw Great Britain beat Switzerland 3-0.

The other ties on the first day of Phase 2 of the men’s competition all ended with the same score: 3-0 for the Netherlands over Hungary and Belgium over Finland in Group A, for Sweden over Croatia and Denmark over San Marino in Group B, and for Germany over Lithuania and Poland over Bulgaria in Group D. Tomorrow, not before 2 p.m., the second of three ties will determine the four teams that will qualify for the Final 8.
