Tenerife, Danish double in the women’s categories

It was a Danish double win in the women’s categories at the FIP Promises Tenerife, held over the weekend at Club Las Arenas Pádel Puerto de la Cruz. Ella Vestergaard and Filikka Skalkam took the Under 16 title with four wins in as many matches, while Cecilie Haslund and Camilla Møller claimed the Under 18 crown, also going unbeaten.

There were four men’s draws, with action in the Under 12, Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 categories. In the Under 12, the Belgian duo of Gilles De Peuter and Nicolas Van Brempt came out on top, while Carlos Bartolome and Iker Gonzalo Cobo took the Under 14 title. Carlos Garau Barbosa and Sebastià Ferrer Reyes won the Under 16, and in the Under 18, the winners were Jorge García Ferreiro and Alvaro González Figueroa.
