“A book that still has pages left to tell”. With this message on their social media, Franco Stupaczuk and Martin Di Nenno opened the week that will see them back on court side by side. The latest shake-up of the 2025 pairings has brought the two Argentinians to the same side of the net for the last Major of the year, which has begun in Acapulco. For Stupa and Di Nenno, the second round will feature a clash with Italian player Alvaro Montiel and another Argentinian, Juan Cruz Belluati, who in Day 1 – dedicated to the final qualifying matches and the first ones in the main draw – defeated the Portuguese brothers Nuno and Miguel Deus 6-4, 7-5.

Today, starting at 4 p.m. local time (11 p.m. CET), there will be as many as 20 matches scheduled, with the center court hosting three Mexican pairs: Renata Martinez Becerra and Camila Blanco, Diego Arredondo and José Pablo Padilla, Pablo Francisco Amora and Pablo Acevedo.
