The show of the Generali Hexagon Cup has kicked off at the Caja Mágica. Music, entertainment, many VIPs in the stands, but above all high-level padel, with the first seasonal matches of the world’s top players. After the first day, two teams are at the top of the standings: Eleven Eleven and ADvantage, each with four points. For Eleven Eleven, victories came from Javi Garrido and Tino Libaak (7-6, 6-3) over Alex Ruiz and Franco Stupaczuk, and from Paula Josemaria and Ale Alonso, who overcame Sofía Araújo and Claudia Jensen in a super tiebreak (3-6, 6-3, 11-9).

 

In the afternoon session, ADvantage secured two victories: the first two points were won by Delfi Brea and Martina Calvo with a double 6-3 over Ale Salazar and Carmen Goenaga, followed by Martín Di Nenno and Juan Tello, who defeated Agustín Tapia and Jon Sanz 6-3, 6-2. A two-point victory also went to KRÜ Padel, with Fede Chingotto and Momo Gonzalez beating Mike Yanguas and Javi Leal 6-1, and to RL9, with Andrea Ustero and Ari Sánchez defeating Marta Ortega and Gemma Triay 6-2, 6-3. One point (equal to a victory in NextGen matches) was awarded to Team BELLA, thanks to Juani Rubini and Aimar Goñi, and to the Hexagon Team, with Pol Hernández and Mariano González. Today in Madrid promises another unmissable day, with the debut of players including Arturo Coello, Bea González, and Claudia Fernández.
