Day3, Ari Sanchez and Tapia take Lewandowski to first place

Robert Lewandowski is used to winning and scoring, first wearing the Bayern Munich jersey and now Barcelona’s. But he is also on top with his RL9 Team at the Generali Hexagon Cup, which in Madrid is preparing to crown its two finalists. The four points that mean the top of the standings were delivered, in front of the eyes of Real Madrid footballers Raúl Asensio and Gonzalo García among other VIPs at the Caja Mágica, first by Andrea Ustero and Ari Sánchez, who beat Bea González and Bea Caldera 3–6 6–1 10–6, and then by Agustín Tapia and Jon Sanz, who defeated Mike Yanguas and Javi Leal 4–6 6–2 10–6.

Close behind, with 7 points and just one point off the lead, are ADvantage (wins by Delfi Brea and Martina Calvoand, in the Next Gen category, by José Jiménez and Manu Castaño) and Eleven Eleven. The latter bounced back from the defeat of Paula Josemaría and Ale Alonso against Brea/Calvo thanks to a double 7–5 win by Javi Garrido and Tino Libaak over Paquito Navarro and Fran Guerrero, in a match that celebrated the 75th anniversary of UNHCR. At the end of the match, Aurora and Romina, two refugee girls aged 8 and 14, were able to meet the match winners.

Today, starting at 11 a.m., the final eight matches will decide the final standings and the two teams that will battle for the title tomorrow from 4 p.m.
