CUPRA FIP Tour 2026: more than 200 combined tournaments and 17 new countries for an increasingly global Padel
February 6, 2026
The CUPRA FIP Tour gets into full swing in an even richer, more ambitious and international 2026.The new season’s calendar reflects the global growth of Padel and strengthens the role of the circuit governed by the International Padel Federation for players aiming for a competitive career at the highest level.
Over 200 tournaments across five continents, 95% in a combined format, will host nearly 400 competitions across men’s and women’s draws. This milestone consolidates the growth of the CUPRA FIP Tour following 166 events in 2025 — with more than 300 draws played last year —and confirms its status as a cornerstone for players, organizers, and national federations. The tour continues to play a central role in the development of professional Padel, combining high-level competition, support for the NextGen, and an international vision.
COUNTRIES AND PLAYERS Seventeen new countries will host at least one stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour in 2026: Cambodia, Singapore, Vietnam, Pakistan, Maldives, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Senegal, Morocco, Hungary, Kosovo, Malta, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, and Latvia. This is an outstanding achievement, the result of FIP’s work to raise organizational and sporting standards at every event, improving the overall quality of the tour. With these additions, the total number of nations hosting the CUPRA FIP Tour rises to 78, with Europe leading (46%), followed by Asia (26%), the Americas (14%), Africa (13%), and Oceania (1%).
Development efforts will continue this season to provide the best possible experience for audiences, organizers, and players, who already showed significant growth last year: over 5,000 athletes competed in CUPRA FIP Tour events in 2025, a 78% increase from 2024.
CATEGORIES AND HIGHLIGHTS The four tournament categories remain in 2026, ranked by prize money and FIP ranking points: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum, with the Finals closing the season in the first week of December. Two major updates mark the new season: the number of FIP Platinum tournaments, the highest category of the CUPRA FIP Tour, will be doubled, with the first event of the season already underway at the prestigious Palais des Sports in Marseille. FIP Gold tournaments will triple, starting in Ponta Delgada, Portugal, from March 2 to 8.
All of this builds a competitive ecosystem — developed alongside Premier Padel, the leading professional circuit, and the FIP Promises Tour for young players — offering athletes worldwide the chance to climb the international rankings and compete in increasingly challenging environments.
