Six stops, three continents: all NextGen events
April 10, 2026
It will be a busy weekend for the NextGen of padel, taking to the courts in Asia, America and Europe. There are six Promises FIP Tour events scheduled: Marino (Italy), Oeiras (Portugal), Stratford (Great Britain), Riomafra (Brazil), Miami (United States) and Mumbai (India).
Europe will host the majority of matches. The favourites in the Under 18 category of the Italian event are Alessandro Zaccagnino and Matteo Quatrana, while in the same women’s category the leading contenders for the title include Emma Biaginti and Benedetta Contarino. In Portugal, Mario Brocal Aviles-Jaime Rodriguez lead the boys’ Under 16 draw. Among the potential winners in the same age group for girls are Amaya Sánchez Del Viejo-Naia Santisteban Letamendia. In Great Britain, the contest between the pairs Hugo Mendez Gomez-Javier Merino Nieto and Alvaro Moreno Herrera-Joa Takala will determine the Under 18 boys’ title.
Young talents will also compete in the United States, where six main draws are scheduled (Under 14, 16 and 18 for both boys and girls): Aiden Gibly-Francisco Bozzola are the top seeds in the boys’ Under 16, while the main contenders for victory in the Under 14 are Jose Ramon Garrido and Jesus Miguel Atouan Traboulsi. In the same category of the Brazilian event, the favourites are Candido Fernando Cardoso Soares-Davi Cazella Furlanetto. Matches in this tournament will be played at Riomafra Padel.
The growth of padel in India continues: following the FIP Silver in Mumbai and last week’s event dedicated to the youngest players, a new chapter arrives with the FIP Promises Mumbai III.
