Miami: Surprise win for Zamora Garcia–Alvarez Bejarano

Last weekend, the next generation of padel players took to the court in the United States to compete in the Miami stage of the FIP Promises Tour. In the boys’ Under 18 category, there was a surprise victory by an unseeded pair: Iker Zamora Garcia and Pedro Alvarez Bejarano, who defeated Ebbe Badersten–Aiden Gibly (3) in the final. The latter, however, together with Francisco Bozzola, secured the title in the Under 16 category. In the girls’ draw, Emma Cantu and Roberta Berlanga achieved a double, winning both the Under 16 and Under 18 titles. Matches in this tournament were played at ‘Padel x Miami’.
