NextGen set to shine across four stops this weekend

The weekend means one thing: the FIP Promises Tour. The NextGen of padel will return to the court across four events on two continents: Rovato (Italy), Badajoz (Spain), Pinhal Novo (Portugal) and Puerto Varas (Chile). More than 20 draws will be contested overall.

At the Italian event, the four boys’ Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 draws will be played at Hub 4.0. In the oldest age category, among the pairs aiming for the title are Alessandro Zaccagnino-Pietro Roger Milani and Leon Oleatti-Nathan Filieri. The latter will also compete in the Under-16 event alongside his brother Benjamin: the two are the tournament’s top seeds. Challenging them for the title will be Mark Giulio Menotti-Riccardo Minighini and Leon Oleatti-Leonardo Villa, seeded No. 2 and No. 3 respectively at FIP Promises Rovato.

FIP Promises Badajoz will feature boys’ and girls’ Under-12, Under-14, Under-16 and Under-18 draws. Leading the boys’ Under-18 draw are Juan Moro Klusek-Javier Mora Cuart. Also in contention are the pairs Carlos Garau Barbosa-Mario Posadas Toquero and Vicente Soto Herrera-Rafael Caro Bataller. At Golf Guadiana, the battle for the girls’ title will see top seeds Marina Serrano Herrera-Amaya Sanchez Del Viejo face Carolina Mascarenhas-Ines Lozano Cabrera.

FIP Promises Pinhal Novo will also offer a packed schedule of matches and compelling contests. In the boys’ Under-18 category, several pairs will be targeting the title, from Eduardo Carmo-Afonso De Almeida Lacerda to Joel Ranera-Christian Riesgo, as well as Francisco Sa-Joao Hassan. The girls’ Under-16 and Under-14 draws are expected to be highly balanced. All matches at this tournament will be played at Grande Indoor Padel.

From Europe to South America. The continent may change, but the spectacle remains the same: the FIP Promises Tour stop in Puerto Varas will also feature a busy programme of matches. The clear favourites for the Under-16 title are top seeds Tomas Guzman and Joaquin Alegria. Among the pairs looking to challenge them are Martin Gonzalez Del Giusto-Benjamin Alejandro Delgado Leiva and Sebastian Tellez-Martin Cabrera Aros. The tournament will take place at Club Central.
