Jakarta, two doubles victories at the Indonesian stage of the FIP Promises Tour

A great display of talent in Indonesia. At the FIP Promises in Jakarta, padel’s NextGen showcased their skills on court. It was a remarkable tournament for many players, both male and female, but particularly so for Arnur Tursynkhan-Islam Duissengazin in the boys’ categories and Zara Settimi-Chikage Yasuda in the girls’ categories: both pairs achieved a double victory.

 

Tursynkhan and Duissengazin triumphed in the Under 16 and Under 18 categories. In the first, they secured the title with a final victory over Joshua Kenzo Sigalingging and Ezio Fadihilah Purwoko, winning 6-0 6-0, while in the second, the decisive result came in the tournament final against Hugo Ayman Harun Daman and Almaghesta Zafa Utama (6-2 6-3). Settimi and Yasuda, meanwhile, became champions in the Under 12 and Under 14 categories. The two Indonesian stage winners did not drop a single set against any of their opponents throughout the tournament.
