Camboriú celebrates South American talents: victories for Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay
July 28, 2026
From the quarter-finals of the FIP Bronze to victory in the FIP Promises. It was a weekend to remember in Camboriú, Brazil, for Argentine Under 16 players Martina Marcel and Zoe Benitez Blanco, who starred both in the professional tournament and in the NextGen event, which brought together some of the best South American padel talents. Alongside Marcel and Blanco, the women’s draws also saw victories for Brazilian Under 18 players Ana Julia Acunha De Oliveira and Julia Giusti Gomes, already winners in Ijuí and Curitiba, as well as Paraguay’s Leila Nanami Seki Onishi and Mayra Isabela Cibils Schmidke in the Under 14 category.
Like their female counterparts, the Under 18 boys’ category also confirmed success for two Brazilian talents, Lucas Bareño Nieto and Nathan De Barros Duval, who had also triumphed in the Ijuí and Curitiba stages. It was the fourth win of the season for Under 16 players Frederico De Marco Rigon and Luca Formigheri, while the Under 14 title went to another Paraguayan pair, Hector David Zorrilla and Jose Unger Rey.
