The NextGen travels the world: six events to showcase their talent

ROME – Young padel talents are ready to take to courts around the world and showcase their talent. Six FIP Promises Tour events will be held this weekend. The NextGen will compete at the following events: Elda (Spain), Mansoursa (Egypt), Johannesburg (South Africa), Karachi (Pakistan), Manta (Ecuador) and Miami (United States).

 

At the FIP Promises Elda in Spain, a total of eight draws will be held: four men’s and four women’s in the Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 categories. In the highest age category for boys, the No. 1 seeds are Dutch pair Pieter Hermus and Dann Jans. Their main rivals are the pairs formed by Tomas Castro-Pedro Ortigosa Martin, Manuel Ramirez Perez-Juan Carlos Gutierrez Guerrero and Alvaro Moreno Herrera and Rafael Reyes Moreno. In the girls’ Under 18, Paula Gil Aguilar-Daniela Valiente Escrich and Celia Alarcon Garcia-Leyre Montanez will compete for the title.

 

From Spain to Egypt. At the FIP Promises Padel Point, four men’s draws (Under 12, 14, 16 and 18) and one women’s draw (Under 18) will be held. In the latter category, the home NextGen will take centre stage. Among the pairs entered are Lily Wael-Malak Amer, Malak Abdelsamie-Rokkia Hassan and Sama Negm-Salma Ezzat. The Under 18 and Under 16 men’s draws are headed by Adel Mahmoud Elsahn-Mohamed Atef and Yassin Omar Youssef-Youssef Elsherbini.

 

At FIP Promises Johannesburg II, eight draws will be held: Under 12, 14, 16 and 18 in both the men’s and women’s categories. The No. 1 seeds in the highest men’s age category are Morne Liebenberg-Max Bendel. Their objective is to lift the trophy on home soil. To do so, they will have to overcome competitive pairs, above all those formed by Joshua Creyling-Muhammed Dayyan Chand and Finlay Hatty Ferguson-Zeke Roulstone. The matches at this FIP Promises Tour event will be played at the ‘Balwin Padel’ venue.

 

In Pakistan, the FIP Promises Jinko Solar Karachi III will take place. Only the men’s NextGen will compete at this event, in the Under 12, 14 and 16 draws. A total of 23 home pairs will compete for the three titles on offer. In the Under 12 category, Muhammad Arsh-Muhammad Azan lead the draw and will aim to lift the winners’ trophy in front of their home crowd. The tournament will be held at the Neo Meidan venue.

 

In the United States, six draws will be held: Under 14, 16 and 18 in both the men’s and women’s categories. The No. 1 seeds in the Under 18 category at FIP Promises Padel X 2026 are Americans Emiliano Antonio Gonzalez-Camilo Velasco Franco. They are followed by the pairs formed by Santiago Castro Varela-Diego De La Cruz, Francisco Bozzola-Aiden Gibly and Santago Hernandez Ochoa-Mateo Herrera Sedgwick. The matches at this FIP Promises Tour event will be played at the ‘Padel X’ venue.

 

The event completing this weekend’s schedule is FIP Promises Manabi. In Ecuador, three men’s and three women’s draws will be held, in both cases in the Under 12, 14 and 16 categories. The ‘PadelMar’ venue will host this FIP Promises Tour event. Numerous home pairs will compete for the six titles on offer.
