The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Villena at Ferrero’s Academy: Gutierrez-Oria top seeds

VILLENA – A special event awaits the CUPRA FIP Tour. As in October 2025, the academy of former tennis player Juan Carlos Ferrero, who also coached Carlos Alcaraz, will host a Tour event: the FIP Bronze JC Ferrero Academy in Villena, Spain. The tournament’s top seeds are Argentina’s Agustin Gutierrez, a familiar name on the Premier Padel circuit who reached the round of 32 at the London P1 in August, and Spain’s Salva Oria. Their aim is to win the title, but they will face strong opposition, particularly from Pablo Reina, winner of the FIP Bronze in Yogyakarta in May, and Miguel Morales, who won the FIP Silver in Melbourne at the start of the year. Federico Galli-Jose Roman Martinez and Sergio Nieto-Samuel Alos are also among the pairs to watch. The wild cards have been awarded to Mikel Ibanez Jimenez-Asier Mas Urkizu and Jose Manuel Lillo-Daniel Sardina. The main draw will begin on Friday 30 October and conclude on Sunday 1 November.
