Dametto and Belmont arrive in Cyprus: the aim is to claim the throne

CYPRUS – The CUPRA FIP Tour returns to Ayia Napa for FIP Bronze Cyprus III. In the men’s draw, the leading pair are Argentina’s Juampi Dametto and Spain’s Roberto Belmont. The former has won two FIP Bronze titles and one FIP Silver title on the circuit, while the latter has claimed five titles. Also in their half of the draw are Alejandro Garcia Calahorro-Iago Fuertes. In the opposite half are the Spanish pairs Ferran Insa-Marcel Font and Alvaro Lopez-Hector Vazquez.

The top seeds in the women’s draw are Jimena Diaz and Alba Vazquez, who have won one FIP Bronze title together this season, at Singapore. However, securing the CUPRA FIP Tour title in Cyprus will be no easy task, with several other competitive pairs in the entry list, notably Maria Garin-Constanca Gorito. Vega Cano-Laura Buteau and the all-French pair Camille Sireix-Julie Razafindranaly will also be looking to contend for the title. The tournament will conclude on Sunday 1 November, with the semi-finals and finals scheduled for that day.
