Egea looking for another trophy

A week after winning the FIP RISE in Iquique (Chile) paired with Gonzalo Vera, Argentina’s Pablo Nicolas Egea is looking for another trophy, this time in Brazil. The FIP RISE Squadra Santa Maria, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, is being played next weekend.

Egea will play with Argentine Gonzalo Daniel Frete: they will be the number 3 seed, with the number 2 pair on the other side of the draw, Adrian Perez (Paraguay) and Andre Freitas (Brazil), with Perez having been Frete’s partner in the FIP RISE in Curitiba, also in Brazil. The two players who were initially at the top of the entry list, Joao Pedro and Stefano Palma Flores, will not play. Thirty pairs will be at the start, with first round on Friday, round of 16 and quarters on Saturday, semifinals and final on Sunday.
