Abu Dhabi, Vilariño and Arredondo favourite for the title

After securing victories at the FIP Bronze events in Mumbai and Doha, as well as the FIP Silver in Parma, Nacho Vilariño will be aiming for his fourth title of the year at the FIP Bronze in Abu Dhabi. This time, he will partner Diego Arredondo. The pair are the tournament’s top seeds and are placed in the top half of the draw alongside Alejandro Perez and Fran Ramirez. In the opposite half are Portuguese players Pedro Araujo and Pedro Graça, winners in February of the FIP Bronze in Madeira. Also featured are Germany’s Agustin Reca and Victor Tur Checa, finalists this year at the FIP Bronze events in Nairobi and Singapore II.

Leading the women’s main draw is Barbara Las Heres, winner of the FIP Silver in Teramo at the beginning of May, alongside Daria Kucheriavaia. Their main challengers are Catherine Rose and Lucia Perez, who claimed the FIP Bronze Singapore I title in 2026. Also among the standout pairs are Elsa Terranova and Angelina Neizvestnaya, as well as the duo of Nika Sluzhiteleva and Ekaterina Nikitina. Zainab El Houari-Abla El Kadri and Alia Taher-Akmo Bolotbek Kyzy will also take part in the Abu Dhabi stage of the CUPRA FIP Tour as tournament wild cards.
