Germany, the italians Fino-Rosingana win first career title on the CUPRA FIP Tour

The first career title is never forgotten. Giuseppe Rosingana and Giuseppe Fino know this well, both Italians, who last weekend claimed the first title of their careers on the CUPRA FIP Tour, winning the FIP Bronze in Hamburg, Germany. The two players defeated Federico Galli and Sergi Guimet Bigas (6-4 6-2) in the semi-finals, while in the match for the title they overcame the pairing of Javi Rico and Mohamed Alami (6-3 6-7 6-4). Fino and Rosingano lost only one set, the one in the final, throughout the tournament. “Champions!” said Fino after the victory. “I have no words to describe everything we have achieved this week. Winning my first international title is an emotion I will not forget easily. Giuseppe, you were perfect. Thanks to my coach, my parents and all the people who support me from home”.

In the women’s draw, Camila Ramme and Brittany Dubins were crowned champions in Germany. Despite their joy, the title did not come in the way they would have wanted: their opponents Martina Parmigiani-Bo Luttikhuis, after losing the first set, retired. In the semi-finals, the champions had defeated wild cards Luciana Renic-Alissa Schmitz in straight sets (6-1 6-4).
