Turkey, Zurita and Melero aim for the crown in Istanbul

Another weekend, another stop on the CUPRA FIP Tour. In the FIP Bronze Istanbul, the title will be contested between Nico Zurita–Miguel Melero and Diego Arredondo–Mateo Alvarez. Nico Zurita has already won this year’s FIP Bronze in Helsingborg, Sweden, and he and Melero last year defeated Arredondo in the final of the FIP Bronze Tokyo, when he played alongside Sergio Alba. Other participants include Daniele Catini–Vasileios Sioulis and Efekan Bulbul–Fatih Sari.

In the women’s draw, the players also promise a great show. In the upper half are Dora Andrejszki and Patri Ribeiro, along with Claudia Ordonez–Daniela Portilla. On the opposite side are Candelaria Sedano–Radu Alice and Nika Sluzhiteleva–Daria Kucheriavaia. The main draw will begin tomorrow, June 5, and conclude on Sunday with the finals.
