Roulstone and Anverali star in Kyalami, Valli also claims a double title

Three of the four boys’ titles went their way. Zeke Roulstone and Fayzaan Anverali enjoyed an outstanding weekend at the FIP Promises Coalition in Kyalami, the prestigious suburb of Midrand, South Africa. Playing together, Zeke and Fayzaan claimed the boys’ Under 16 title, but their winning run extended across the other age categories as well: Roulstone also triumphed in the boys’ Under 18 event alongside Morne Liebenberg, while Anverali lifted the boys’ Under 14 title with Ayaaz Omar.

 

There were more standout performances in the four girls’ draws, where Imaan Valli once again took centre stage. The current leader of the African FIP Ranking Promises Under 18 won both the girls’ Under 18 title (with Seyanna Ladha) and the girls’ Under 16 title alongside Basma Moola, another promising South African player who had already celebrated victories at the previous home stops of the season.
