Kviatkovski and Parra in the spotlight in Phoenix. Vidal-Sebber Gormsen their main challengers

From Texas to Phoenix: following last week’s FIP Silver, the CUPRA FIP Tour remains in the United States with the FIP Bronze Phoenix Open. The Argentine pair of Kevin Uriel Kviatkovski and Fabricio Parra top the men’s draw. This year, Kviatkovski won the FIP Bronze in Jakarta. Parra has also claimed a title on the circuit in 2026, winning the FIP Bronze in Chieti last July. Victory will not come easily for the No. 1 seeds at this event. Their main challengers for the title are Spain’s Karlos Rodriguez Vidal and Denmark’s Oscar Sebber Gormsen. The former is seeking his first career title on the circuit, while the latter has already celebrated once: in 2025, he lifted the winners’ trophy at the FIP Bronze in Bangalore, India.

Also in the spotlight at this CUPRA FIP Tour event is the Spanish pair of Jose Pedro Montalban-Alberto Gasca Romero. Other pairs to watch include Juan Ignacio Franco-Aleix Pozo Rius and Vinny Di Francesco Calderonò-Ivo Andenmatten Gudino. The main draw of this tournament will begin on Thursday 3 September and conclude on Sunday 6 September, when the final will be played.
