Terranova-Neizvestnaya complete their asian double this season: after Jakarta, Phuket awaits

The return to Asia for the partnership of Elsa Terranova and Angelina Neizvestnaya could not have ended in a better way: after triumphing at last July’s FIP Bronze in Jakarta, they completed a double on the continent by winning the FIP Bronze High Velocity Phuket in Thailand. In July, the pair had reached the final of the FIP Bronze in Jakarta, Indonesia. After a major semi-final victory over the No. 1 seeds, Bo Luttikhuis-Janine Hemmes (3-6 6-4 6-3), Terranova and Neizvestnaya defeated Jimena Diaz-Alba Vazquez 7-5 7-5 in the title match.

In the men’s draw, there was a major triumph for the partnership of Hector Vazquez-Alvaro Lopez. The two Spaniards lifted the winners’ trophy after defeating Mattia Di Bari-Andres Calzada in the final: having lost the first set in a tie-break, they turned the match around to win 6-7 6-3 6-3. In the semi-final, they had defeated the No. 2 seeds, Jordi Casanova and Miguel Melero (7-5 6-3). Vazquez had already claimed two other victories on the CUPRA FIP Tour in 2026, at the FIP Bronze Hong Kong I and II. Lopez won his first title of the year on the circuit.
