Nicolas Suescun, Manuel Castaño, Emily Stellato, and Lorena Vano are the winners of the FIP Silver in Cyprus, a tournament that gave 80 points for the FIP ranking. The Italian pair won the women’s draw, earning their fifth and third win in the CUPRA FIP Tour, and got their revenge with a 6-4 6-2 win over the Spanish team Fassio-Gomez Riva, after losing to them last week in the final of the FIP Silver in Bristol.
“We are very happy with our win in Cyprus. We’re starting to feel good again and have the right confidence to win and take the title home. Thanks to everyone for these days, and congratulations to the tournament organizers. Now a short break, see you in May,” said Emily Stellato after the win.
In the men’s draw, the Italian-Spanish team won the final against Abbate-Montiel with a score of 1-6 6-4 6-3. Manuel Castaño, born in 2008, achieved his first international title, while Nicolas Suescun got his third win in the CUPRA FIP Tour.
