June 18, 2025
Reus, a city in the Costa Daurada region of Spain, will host the 15th edition of the FIP Junior World Cup, scheduled to take place from 29 September to 5 October 2025. The event, which brings together the most promising young talents in world padel, is organised by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Premier Padel Spain, with the support of the Government of Catalonia, the Tarragona–Costa Daurada Provincial Council, and the City Council of Reus, in collaboration with the Spanish Padel Federation (FEP) and the Catalan Padel Federation (FCP).
Following the successful 2023 edition held in Asunción (Paraguay) – where Spain won the team titles in both the men’s and women’s categories – the FIP Junior World Cup returns to Europe, reaffirming its role as a key event for the NextGen of international padel. The tournament will officially open on 28 September, with the main draw matches beginning on 29 September.
“For all of us, the greatest joy will be reading the excitement in the eyes of the young athletes taking part in this FIP Junior World Cup 2025”, said FIP President Luigi Carraro. “To them I say: enjoy yourselves, socialise and make friends, learn from one another, compete with fairness and sportsmanship, and remember that one day you will be the champions you now dream of becoming. You are our step into the future, and the living proof that padel will continue to grow – just as it has, thanks to those who came before you and who now put on a show on courts around the world”, he concluded.
National teams will be composed of players from the Under 14, Under 16, and Under 18 age categories, confirming the commitment of FIP and national federations to developing young talent and strengthening padel as a global sport. This edition promises to be another important step forward for the discipline, and a great show for all to watch.
