Phuket, second win in a row for Zurita and Melero

Nico Zurita and Miguel Melero won again in Indonesia. They got their second straight title at the FIP Bronze played in the Asian country, beating the Spanish pair Santi Pineda (winner of the FIP Bronze Qatar in January) and Cristobal Garcia in the final, 7-6, 6-2.
“We are very happy to win this title. Thanks to all the organizers of this amazing tournament. It’s great to see our sport growing in new countries like Indonesia. It’s a pleasure for us to come and play here. Also, congratulations to Nico for playing at such a high level these days,” said Miguel Melero after the prize ceremony.
In the women’s draw, Daiara Valenzuela and Nika Sluzhiteleva won the final. It was their first international title of 2025, thanks to a win over the top seeds Carla Fitó and Patricia Araus (winner of the first two FIP Bronze tournaments in the Asian country in the past two weeks), with a score of 6-4, 7-6.
