Plaza Mayor began to fill up for the Oysho Valladolid Premier Padel P2. Yesterday afternoon saw the first matches of the women’s main draw, with Aranzazu Osoro and Martina Calvo starting with a victory (6-2, 6-2) in the clash between Argentina and Spain, which saw two young talents, Calvo and Raquel Eugenio, paired with Virginia Riera. Ruiz Soto/Mesa, Sharifova/Rodriguez and Castelló/Rufo also advanced to the next round, with the latter two facing Bea Gonzalez and Claudia Fernandez in the round of 16.

TODAY The tournament gets into full swing today with the first matches of the men’s draw and the debut of the “kings of Rome”, Fede Chingotto and Ale Galan, who will face Alex Chozas and Sanyo Gutierrez. There will also be a big match between Coki Nieto and Mike Yanguas (4) and one of the surprises of the BNL Italy Major Premier Padel, the pair formed by Fran Guerrero and Javi Leal, who made it to the semi-finals at the Foro Italico.
