Lyttos Crete I: Another win for Rubio and Ruiz in Greece

Another event of the CUPRA FIP Tour and another win for the Spanish pair Gonzalo Rubio and Javi Ruiz. They won the FIP Silver Lyttos Crete (it’s the 10th title for Rubio in this category – only Marco Cassetta with 12 and José Luis Gonzalez with 11 have more).
In the final, they beat the number one seeds David Gala and Lucas Campagnolo (who was a finalist in last year’s CUPRA FIP Finals) with a score of 7-6, 3-6, 6-3.
Rubio and Ruiz, now ranked number 48 and 54 in the world, won their second international title this year. Last month, they also won the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup in Palermo.
