Stratford, what a feat for Guimet-Ferreyra!

It’s the fourth title of 2025 on the CUPRA FIP Tour for Andrés Fernández Lancha, who, together with Álvaro Cepero, won the FIP SILVERR3 Bullpadel Cup in Stratford, Great Britain. The Spanish duo defeated compatriots Alberto García and Juan Zamora in the final (6-2 6-4). For Cepero, it’s his second title of the year after his win at the FIP Bronze in Finland last April. “Winning any tournament is special, but it’s even more special to do it in a club and a place so close to my heart”, said Lancha after the victory.

In the women’s event, the big story came from Eugenia Guimet and María Laura Ferreyra: the Spanish-Argentinian duo, seeded 11th, had an amazing weekend. They beat the top seeds Mónica Gómez and Carolina Navarro, as well as two British pairs (De La Mare/Quirk and Rose/Norton), before pulling off a fantastic comeback in the final against Camila Fassio and Rebeca López (4-6 6-4 6-1). “Champions after five really tough and high-level matches”, said Guimet. “Such a pleasure to win this tournament by your side, María!”.
