Terni, Lucia Garcia makes history: 13th title in the CUPRA FIP Tour, the most successful ever

Lucia Garcia is now part of CUPRA FIP Tour history. The Spanish player, ranked number 64 in the world, became the first ever to win 13 titles on the international circuit after her victory at the FIP Bronze Terni – held in Umbria, central Italy. She passed Nati Lopez Diaz and Laura Lujan, both with 12 titles, thanks to her win with Amanda Lopez in the final against Tommasi–Val, with a score of 6-1, 6-3.

In the men’s draw, Alvaro and Pedro Melendez won the title and earned the 40 FIP ranking points after defeating Figuerola–Belmont in the final, 7-6, 6-2.

This week, still in Umbria, the CUPRA FIP Tour continues with the FIP Silver Mediolanum Padel Cup in Perugia, hosted at the Padel Arena Fastweb.
