Lyttos IV, another triumph in Crete for Cremona and Richters
December 1, 2025
It was a picture-perfect end of the season for Simone Cremona and Sten Richters, who closed out 2025 on the CUPRA FIP Tour with their second consecutive title — this time without dropping a single set. The Italian and the Dutchman, a pairing formed less than a month ago, claimed the championship at the FIP Bronze Lyttos IV in Crete, defeating two fellow Italians in the final (6–4 6–4): Giulio Graziotti and Simone Iacovino, Cremona’s teammates on the national squad that won bronze at the FIP Euro Padel Cup at the end of October.
“We did it again!”, said Cremona after the win. “This result gives Sten and me huge momentum, the right energy and the motivation to plan 2026 in the best possible way. A big victory, especially because it came in a derby that was anything but easy mentally: on the other side of the court were my friends Giulio and Simone, whom I sincerely congratulate for their excellent tournament.” “I couldn’t be happier,” echoed Richters, who will soon be back on court for the CUPRA FIP Finals in Shanghai with Thijs Roper. “Thank you, Simone, for these past tournaments!”
