Doha, Vilariño–Del Castillo and Gibson–Perez triumph in Qatar

The CUPRA FIP Tour 2026 was in action in Qatar this weekend. At the FIP Bronze Doha, played at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, the number one seeded pair won both the men’s and women’s draws.

Success therefore for the Spaniards Nacho Vilariño (88) and Mario Del Castillo (69), also finalists in the last FIP Bronze Mallorca, thanks to a 7–5 6–1 victory in the final against their compatriots Pablo Reina (209) and Miguel Morales (175).

In the women’s draw, victory instead for Aimee Gibson (89) and Alba Perez (70), who won their fourth international title together, thanks to their success against Camila Ramme (86) and Brittany Dubins (97), who were forced to retire during the third set.
