The International Padel Federation continues its global plan to promote and develop the champions of tomorrow. Arturf Padel Arena will welcome the continent’s best boys and girls, from Under 12 to Under 18. Carraro: “It will be three days of great sport, friendship and cultural exchange.”
Africa’s Padel NextGen is preparing for the most anticipated event of the competitive season. The inaugural FIP Promises Continental Finals Africa will be held in Cape Town, South Africa, from 18 to 20 December 2026. The historic debut will take place at Arturf Padel Arena, the largest facility dedicated to Padel in the country; a venue of excellence aligned with the vision of the International Padel Federation, which places young people at the centre of its global development project.
The tournament will bring together the elite of boys’ and girls’ Padel across four age categories: Under 12, Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18. Qualification for the Finals will be reserved for the top eight pairs in the African continental ranking, determined on the basis of the continental standings.
The competition will begin with a group stage consisting of two groups. The top two pairs from each group will advance to the semi-finals, ahead of the finals that will decide the titles.
The entire event will be covered via live streaming in order to provide maximum visibility for the young champions. The Cape Town event represents a key milestone for the growth of Padel on the continent, with the NextGen ready to showcase its full potential.
CARRARO “The FIP Promises Continental Finals Africa represent the future of our sport. They will not only be three days of high-level competition between the best African boys and girls, but also an opportunity for connection, friendship, fair play and cultural exchange among young players from across the continent,” said FIP President Luigi Carraro, who added: “Padel grows through talent, but also through the values it is able to pass on to new generations. We are proud that the first edition of the African Finals will take place in Cape Town, South Africa, a symbol of the remarkable growth of Padel in Africa.”
