FIP Promises Continental Finals from 18 to 20 December: the best of the NextGen across four continents
October 26, 2026
Padel’s NextGen is preparing for a landmark event. From 18 to 20 December, the world’s top young talents will take to the court simultaneously across four continents for the FIP Promises Continental Finals 2026. The International Padel Federation has outlined the framework for an event designed to give further momentum to the global development of Padel and the growth of the champions of the future.
A GLOBAL FORMAT The event will take place simultaneously across the Americas, Asia, Africa and Europe, making December the highlight of the junior competitive season. The venues that will welcome the best talents from each continent will be announced shortly.
RULES AND RANKING Entry to the FIP Promises Continental Finals will follow the standard registration process for FIP Promises tournaments. The top eight pairs in each category (U12, U14, U16 and U18, boys’ and girls’ divisions) will qualify. The ranking used to determine which pairs qualify will be the FIP Promises Ranking published on 7 December 2026. To be eligible, each player must have competed in at least three FIP Promises tournaments during the 2026 season and may enter only one category.
COMPETITION AND SPECTACLE The sporting format has been designed to deliver the highest level of competition and entertainment over the three days. In the opening phase, the pairs will be split into two groups and compete in a round-robin format over the first two days of the tournament. The top two pairs from each group will advance to the semi-finals, scheduled for the morning of Sunday 20 December, ahead of the grand finale, when the first-ever continental titles will be awarded.
