FIP Junior America Padel Cup: Cancun to host the final chapter of a historic year for Padel NextGen
October 19, 2026
The fourth event of the 2026 FIP Junior Continental Cups will take place in Mexico from 10 to 14 November, with all four competitions being held in the same calendar year for the first time
Padel NextGen is preparing for another major event in Mexico. From 10 to 14 November, Cancun will host the FIP Junior America Padel Cup, the last of the four continental team competitions for young talents organised by the International Padel Federation this year.
The tournament, featuring the best Under 14, Under 16 and Under 18 players in both the boys’ and girls’ categories, will bring a historic year for the sport to a close. For the first time, all four Junior Continental Cups are taking place in the same calendar year, across four continents, as part of a single programme dedicated to the development of youth Padel. Following the events in Africa and Europe, the competition in Mexico will run alongside the FIP Junior Asia Padel Cup, scheduled to take place in Jakarta, Indonesia, from 7 to 14 November. The start of the Cancun event will therefore mark the completion of an unprecedented season.
The Junior Continental Cups offer young athletes a unique opportunity to meet and compete internationally, represent their countries and gain valuable experience for their sporting development. This initiative reflects the FIP’s commitment to nurturing the next generation through programmes that showcase emerging talent and strengthen the role of national federations in developing youth programmes.
