NextGen talents take centre stage in Chile

A great display of talent at the Chilean stage of the FIP Promises Tour, held over the weekend in Iquique. Player Tomas Guzman stood out by winning the title in two categories: Under 16 and Under 18, respectively with Joaquin Alegria and Alonso Villavicencio Mancilla. However, this was not the only double achieved at this stage of the circuit dedicated to young padel talents: in the women’s draw, Aurora Paz Candia and Javiera Carvajal also won two titles. In this case too, as in the men’s competition, the victories came in the Under 16 and Under 18 categories. In the boys’ Under 14 category, success went to Eduardo Macaya and Antonio Figueroa Cautivo, while in the girls’ category it was the pair formed by Fernanda Abarca and Antonia Francisca Salomon De La Maza who claimed the title.
