Kviatkovski-Parra dominate in Arizona: the Argentinian pair take the Phoenix crown
September 7, 2026
The embrace after converting match point and the hands raised to the sky in celebration. This is the image that sums up the satisfaction of the Argentine pair of Kevin Kviatkovski and Balta Parra after winning the title at the FIP Bronze in Phoenix, Arizona (USA). After defeating Jose Pedro Montalban and Alberto Gasca Romero in the semi-finals (6-0 6-3), the winners beat compatriot Lautaro Mambrini and Dane Matias Segura in the title decider (6-3 6-4). Parra and Kviatkovski demonstrated their strength throughout the tournament, in which they were the No. 1 seeds: they did not concede a single set to their opponents.
For both Kviatkovski and Parra, this triumph in the United States was not their only title of the season on the CUPRA FIP Tour. Kviatkovski won the FIP Bronze in Jakarta, held last July (and had been a finalist at the FIP Bronze in Banten). Parra, meanwhile, won the FIP Bronze in Chieti last July.
