Padel first came to the United States in 1993.
The United States Padel Association has been the governing body for the sport of Padel in the United States since 1993. The headquarters for the association is in Houston, Texas. The USPA is dedicated to promoting both amateur and professional play in the United States.

The USPA’s first International participation was in the 1993 tri-national event with host country Mexico, Canada and The United States in Acapulco, México.

The USPA attended every Padel World Championship since 1994-current date.
