Sevilla, from 15 to 20 September the padel elite will be in Andalusia

FIP Platinum Sevilla 2025 is almost here. From 15 to 20 September, the Andalusian city will become the world capital of padel. The matches will take place at the Icónico Sports Social Club, a perfect venue to host exciting games between the best male and female players in the FIP ranking. This is one of the most important tournaments in the CUPRA FIP Tour. In 2025, it will be the second event in the Platinum category, after the one held in Puebla (Mexico) in March.

“We are proud to host such an important event in the best padel venue in Andalusia,” said the mayor, José Luis Sanz, during the official presentation of the tournament. Patricia del Pozo, Regional Minister for Culture and Sport of the Andalusian Government, agreed: “It’s very important for us to organize this tournament here, and we thank the great team who helped make it happen. Choosing Seville for this event is a success, and I’m sure people will remember it as a big moment. We have the right sports network to make this a unique event in the world.”

The tournament is organized with the help of the Spanish Padel Federation, represented by its president Ramón Morcillo, who talked about the importance of these tournaments worldwide. Pepe Pérez, president of the Andalusian Padel Federation, added: “Seville is already a key city in the world of padel, and now it will also host the second Platinum tournament of the season. I’m sure that the 600 points up for grabs will attract the top male and female players in the FIP ranking.”

It will be an unmissable event, also because local star Paquito Navarro will be there: “Playing here is special, and I believe Seville will become one of the world’s padel capitals,” he said during the presentation. The same emotions were shared by Laura Luján, who was born in Seville: “Playing such an important tournament in my city will be amazing. I’m sure many fans will come to enjoy the best padel in the world.”
