FIP Ranking Number Ones honored in Barcelona

Everyone on their feet for Gemma and Delfi, and for Arturo and Agustín. Today was the day of the season’s major recognitions in the FIP, and during the second day of the Finals, after the first match scheduled in Barcelona, the President of the International Padel Federation, Luigi Carraro, and the CEO of Premier Padel, David Sugden, officially awarded the men’s and women’s FIP Ranking Number Ones: Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea, Arturo Coello and Agustín Tapia.

When the four players walked onto the court to receive their trophies, the crowd gave them a huge standing ovation. Gemma Triay and Delfi Brea reached 16 finals in 21 tournaments this season, winning 9 titles. On the men’s side, the 2025 season was dominated again by a pair who reached 17 finals in 20 tournaments, winning 12 titles this year alone, for a total of 30 on the Premier Padel circuit. Luigi Carraro handed the awards to Tapia and Triay, while David Sugden gave the trophies to Coello and Brea, all in a celebratory atmosphere. The four World No. 1s then took a lap around the court to soak up the applause from the thousands of fans at the Palau.
