From Europe to America: six new stops for the NextGen

Four stops in Europe and two in America. The FIP Promises Tour features six new tournaments this week, scheduled in Middelkerke (Belgium), Siracusa (Italy), Paredes (Portugal), Espoo (Finland), Curitiba (Brazil) and Woodlands (United States).

In the Belgian city, more than 100 pairs will compete until Sunday at Golden Point. Among the most anticipated are Alvaro Abad and Juan Moro, the number one seeds in the Under 18 boys’ draw. In the same age group for girls, attention is on the Dutch players Anshika Rajagopal and Rishita Rajagopal, winners of the FIP Promises Torino two weeks ago. There will be two girls’ draws – Under 18 and Under 16 – while four boys’ categories will compete for the titles (U12, U14, U16, U18). From Under 12 to Under 18, competition will also take place in Espoo, as well as in Siracusa and Paredes, where among the more than 100 registered pairs Javi Merino and Martim Dias lead the Under 18 boys’ seeding.

The NextGen will also be in action at Woodlands Padel, where the finals of the four draws – three boys’ and one girls’ – are scheduled for Sunday. The same applies to the FIP Promises Curitiba in Brazil, where attention is focused on the pairs Pedro Henrique Estivalet and Pietro Ragada, and Luiza Becker and Anita Coelho, who lead the Under 16 draws.
