The italian pair Baldi-Aima win in Montesilvano

Following their victory in early April at the FIP Bronze in Rivesaltes, France, the home pair of Caterina Baldi and Clarissa Aima also claimed the title at the FIP Bronze in Montesilvano, Italy. In the final, the two players defeated Giulia Sussarello and Carla Touly (6–3 6–2), having earlier overcome Alba Perez and Matilde Minelli (6–4 6–1) in the semi-finals. The champions completed the tournament without conceding a single set. “Champions of Montesilvano – said Baldi after the win -. We achieved another great victory together. We delivered an excellent tournament, playing at a very high level”.
After finishing as finalists at the FIP Bronze events in Marrakech and Isla de la Palma, Emilio Sanchez Chamero and Alberto Garcia secured their first title as a pair on the CUPRA FIP Tour. The champions, after defeating Alvaro Lopez and Filippo Nicocia in the semi-final (6–4 6–7 6–2), won the final against France’s Dylan Guichard and Italy’s Marco Cassetta (6–4 7–5). The latter had arrived following victory at the FIP Silver in Bari alongside Jose Luis Gonzalez.
